Interior Detail
Deep clean your vehicle's interior — improving hygiene, comfort, and long-term value with a structured, multi-stage process using specialist equipment and premium products.
What is an Interior Detail?
At PureCar, we follow a structured, multi-stage process designed to clean, sanitise, and restore every accessible area of your interior. We don’t wipe surfaces with a single cloth — we use specialist brushes, steam, extraction equipment, and premium products to ensure dirt is removed properly, not just moved around.
What's Included in Our Interior Detail?
Our full interior service includes:
- Rubbish removal to clear the workspace before cleaning begins
- Thorough vacuuming of all accessible areas, including carpets, seats, seat rails, floor mats, door pockets, air vents, and all cracks and crevices
- Fabric extraction on cloth seats and carpets using professional upholstery cleaner, agitation brushes, and specialist extraction equipment
- Plastics, trim, and crevice cleaning with brushes, steam, and specialist products to remove grime, fingerprints, and built-up contamination
- Streak-free interior glass cleaning including windscreen, mirrors, and infotainment screens using non-ammonia products
- Sanitisation of high-touch areas, seat and carpet grooming, mat replacement, and a light fragrance finish
*For heavily soiled vehicles, excessive pet hair, or headliner cleaning, a small additional charge may apply to ensure a thorough job.
Interior Detail FAQs
Most interior details take between 2 and 4 hours depending on the size of the vehicle and its condition. Heavily soiled interiors or those requiring headliner extraction may take longer. We’ll give you a more accurate timeframe when you book.
Extracted areas — carpets and fabric seats — are dried using an air mover during the service, but some residual dampness is normal. Most interiors are fully dry within 2 to 4 hours, though this varies depending on temperature and airflow.
Yes, though heavily pet-hair-affected vehicles may incur an additional charge due to the extra time and equipment required. Let us know when booking so we can factor this in.
In most cases, yes. Professional extraction significantly improves or fully removes stains from spills, food, and general soiling. Results depend on the stain type, age, and fabric — we’ll always be upfront if something is unlikely to come out fully.
Headliner extraction is available but carries an additional charge. It’s not included as standard due to the specialist care required to avoid damage to the material.
For most vehicles, once or twice a year is sufficient to maintain a clean, hygienic interior. If you have kids, pets, or a high-mileage vehicle, more frequent detailing will help keep on top of build-up.
Yes — a light fragrance is applied as a finishing touch. We also sanitise high-touch surfaces throughout, so it’s genuinely clean, not just masked.
Absolutely. In fact, older interiors often benefit most. Extraction and deep cleaning can dramatically improve the look, smell, and feel of a well-used interior.
